WOODBRIDGE, Conn.- Woodbridge Animal Control is asking for help in identifying the owner responsible for leaving two dead dogs on the road.
Animal control says the two dogs were reported to them on Friday.
A concerned citizen reached out to them after finding the two deceased dogs on the corner of Johnson Road and Brookwood Road.
The dogs were transported by Woodbridge Regional Animal Control to UConn for necropsy work.
They described the two dogs as female and Micro Bully type breeds. One was an adult, while the other was a juvenile.
“The adult female Micro Bully was white and tan in color and deceased on scene. The juvenile female micro bully was white in color with brownish brindle patches around each eye and found in a garbage bag,” Animal Control said.
Desmond’s Army is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.
