Police searching for person who left dog stranded without her puppies

(WFSB) | April 17, 2024 | By Hector Molina

Animal Control Officer Roslyn Nenninger says the situation is taking a significant mental and physical toll on the dog.

“It messes with her psyche as well as it’s physically affecting her because she’s still producing milk and unable to feed or relieve that, so we’re going to deal with some physical issues as well as some mental issues with the dog,” Nenninger said.

Desmond’s Army, an animal advocacy group, is offering more than $5,000 ($6,000 updated 4/18/24) for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the responsible party.

If you have any information regarding this incident, you are asked to contact Wolcott Police.
