On October 3, 2024, a heartbreaking discovery was made at Stonybrook Field in Stratford. A dog, now known as Gabrielle, was found abandoned in a dire state, weighing only 7 lbs and with a body condition score of zero. This innocent creature, approximately three years old, was severely emaciated, dehydrated, and on the brink of organ failure. She was rushed to a veterinarian. Unfortunately, Gabrielle could not be saved and was humanely euthanized.

Desmond's Army Animal Law Advocates is offering a substantial $5,000 Reward for any information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for Gabrielle's suffering. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor ($1,000) and Outreach to Pets in Need (OPIN) ($3,000), the total reward has now reached $9,000.00.

If you have any information that could lead to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible, please get in touch with Stratford Animal Control by calling 203-385-4068 or emailing acos@townofstratford.org.

Your support in sharing this message is crucial in seeking justice for Gabrielle and preventing such cruelty in the future.
