WALLINGFORD, Conn.— Desmond’s Army announced Thursday they’re offering a $5,000 reward for information on a senior dog abandoned at the Wallingford dog park on Tuesday.
The animal law advocates say the information must lead to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for the condition and abandonment of the shepherd.
Wallingford Animal Control said the older adult male German Shepherd was found at the dog park Tuesday afternoon without an owner.
Anyone who knows anything about the dog or has witnessed anything at the dog park is asked to call Animal Control at 203-294-2180.
They said the dog is not available for adoption. Available dogs can be found on the adoption website “PetFinder.”
