FEB 4, 2026 | 5,000 REWARD is offered for EACH of the three animals abandoned at separate locations in Stratford on Monday, 2/2/26. The rewards are available to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for these acts of animal abandonment.

Tiny Tim, a senior, three-legged dog with impaired vision, was dumped on a remote road in 19° weather, unable to survive on his own.

Hubie, a kitten, was locked inside a storage unit with no access to water.

Matilda, a cat, was left outside a closed veterinary hospital in 17° weather.

JAN 31, 2026 | 5,500 REWARD for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the male, captured on video, who abandoned the female white and tan pitbull-type dog outside the Robin I. Kroogman New Haven Animal Shelter on 1/30 during a severe cold weather advisory. The increased award includes $500 from Army's Legacy. If you have any information about this man, the vehicle (a 4-door sedan), or the incident, please contact the New Haven Animal Shelter at 203-946-8110. Tipsters remain anonymous.
